Olive Plant

$20.00

hree young olive trees (Olea europaea) are planted in matching woven rattan/bamboo basket planters with tripod wooden legs, staked with bamboo canes for support as they grow. Each has the classic narrow, elongated silvery-green leaves typical of olive trees, with a slightly grey-green tone on top and a more silvery underside. They're indoor young specimens, still slender and leggy, being trained upright against the stakes — likely just a year or two old.

A few care notes if useful:

  • Light: Olive trees need very bright light — ideally several hours of direct sun daily. Indoors, a sunny south-facing window is best.
  • Water: Let the soil dry out somewhat between waterings — they don't like soggy roots.
  • Growth habit: The staking is a good idea early on to keep the trunk straight; you can remove it once the trunk thickens and stands on its own.
  • Pruning: Pinching the tips encourages bushier, fuller growth rather than one leggy leader.

Please note ratan stand is not included for this price.
