Lemon 'Meyer' – 5 Litre Pot
Lemon 'Meyer' – 5 Litre Pot
Botanical name: Citrus × meyeri (syn. Citrus × limon 'Meyer')
Enjoy fresh lemons straight from your own garden with Lemon 'Meyer', New Zealand's favourite home lemon tree. It produces generous crops of juicy, thin-skinned lemons with a milder, slightly sweeter and less acidic flavour than regular lemons. They're perfect for cooking, baking, drinks, dressings and preserves.
'Meyer' is one of the easiest and most reliable citrus trees to grow. It's compact, fruits over a long season and copes with cooler conditions better than most lemons. It's self-fertile, so you only need one tree to get fruit, and its fragrant white flowers and glossy evergreen leaves make it an attractive tree for gardens or patio pots.
