Camellia 'Fairy Blush' – 4 Litre Pot
Camellia 'Fairy Blush' – 4 Litre Pot
Botanical name: Camellia hybrid 'Fairy Blush' (Camellia lutchuensis hybrid)
Add delicate winter colour and fragrance to your garden with Camellia 'Fairy Blush', a much-loved New Zealand-bred camellia. Bright pink buds open into clusters of dainty, single flowers in soft apple-blossom pink fading to white, with golden centres. The flowers are lightly scented, which is unusual for a camellia, and they're produced over a very long season from late autumn through to early spring.
'Fairy Blush' has an upright habit with small, glossy dark green leaves, giving it a fine, elegant look that's softer than traditional camellias. It's hardy and easy to grow, and makes a beautiful hedge, screen, espalier or specimen shrub. It also suits large containers on patios and courtyards, where you can enjoy the fragrance up close.
