Strelitzia reginae (Bird of Paradise) – PB5 Bag
Botanical name: Strelitzia reginae
Bring a bold, tropical touch to your garden with Strelitzia reginae, the Bird of Paradise. Its spectacular orange and blue flowers look just like the head of an exotic bird in flight, rising above clumps of large, paddle-shaped, blue-green leaves. It's a real showstopper, and the flowers also make long-lasting cut blooms.
Strelitzia is tough, low-maintenance and loves NZ's warmer regions. It's ideal for tropical-style gardens, coastal plantings, courtyards, poolside areas and large patio pots, and it can also be grown indoors in a bright spot. The 3.3 litre size is a healthy, established plant that's ready to grow on.
