Pretty, playful and full of colour. ‘Zizou’ is a charming anthurium with waxy pink, heart-shaped flowers and pink spikes, set against glossy, dark green evergreen leaves. With a little care, it reblooms throughout the year, giving you months of colour without the fuss of cut flowers.

Grown in New Zealand by Gellerts, this compact 12cm plant is ideal for desks, kitchen benches, bedside tables and shelves. It makes a lovely gift for birthdays, housewarmings, Mother’s Day or simply to brighten someone’s day.

Care guide

• Light: Bright, indirect light encourages the most flowers. Keep out of direct sun, which can yellow or scorch the leaves.
• Water: Water about once a week, letting the top of the soil dry out slightly between waterings. Water less in winter and never leave it sitting in water.
• Humidity: Enjoys humidity. Mist occasionally and wipe leaves to keep them glossy.
• Feeding: Feed monthly in spring and summer with a liquid fertiliser for flowering plants.
• Temperature: Prefers warm spots, ideally 18–27°C. Keep away from cold draughts and heaters.
