Gellert's ZZ Plant Black (Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Black’) – 14cm Pot

ZZ Plant Black (Zamioculcas zamiifolia ‘Black’) – 14cm Pot

Add a dramatic, modern touch to any space with the ZZ Plant Black. Its glossy, deep green foliage matures to an almost jet-black colour, creating a striking contrast against light walls, timber and contemporary interiors.

New growth emerges bright green before gradually darkening to rich black, giving the plant an eye-catching layered look. Tough, adaptable and slow-growing, it’s an excellent choice for homes, offices and anyone looking for a stylish, low-maintenance indoor plant.

Key features

• Glossy, near-black foliage
• Bright green new growth for added contrast
• Very low maintenance
• Tolerates lower light conditions
• Drought tolerant, thanks to water-storing rhizomes
• Ideal for desks, shelves, bedrooms and offices

Care tips

• Light: Medium to bright indirect light gives the best colour. It will tolerate lower light, but growth will be slower.
• Water: Allow the potting mix to dry out completely before watering. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems.
• Soil: Use a free-draining indoor potting mix.
• Temperature: Keep in a warm, draught-free spot away from cold windows in winter.
• Feeding: Feed lightly with liquid indoor plant fertiliser during spring and summer.
• Note: All parts are toxic if eaten. Keep away from children and pets.
