Sweet, seedless, easy-peel mandarins: the perfect lunchbox fruit.

Silverhill is a much-loved Satsuma-type mandarin, popular with home gardeners. Its flattish, bright orange fruit have a thin, smooth skin that peels in seconds, and the segments are seedless. The flesh is low in acid, so it’s naturally sweet and juicy, ideal for kids, lunchboxes and healthy snacking through the cooler months.

Like other Satsumas, Silverhill is hardier than most citrus and handles cooler conditions well, so it performs reliably across much of New Zealand. This tree is grafted onto disease-resistant rootstock for strong, healthy growth and earlier cropping. It’s supplied at a well-established height of approximately 80–90 cm, ready to plant out.
