Richards Special Mandarin – Citrus (Grafted)
Big, sweet, easy-peel mandarins that ripen in spring.
Richards Special is a popular spring-ripening mandarin. It produces large, deliciously sweet fruit with a loose, easy-peel skin and segments that separate cleanly, with few seeds. Because it ripens around September, it fills the gap after the winter mandarins have finished, so you can enjoy fresh mandarins later in the year.
It’s a tall, vigorous tree with bright green foliage that makes an attractive feature in the garden. This tree is grafted onto disease-resistant rootstock for strong, healthy growth and earlier cropping. It’s supplied at a well-established height of approximately 80–90 cm, ready to plant out.
