Finger Lime Brown / Pink – Citrus (Grafted)

“Citrus caviar”: tangy pink pearls that pop in your mouth.

The finger lime is an Australian native citrus and a real foodie favourite. Its small, finger-shaped fruit have a thin brownish skin. Slice one open and squeeze out the beautiful pink, caviar-like pearls (juice vesicles). They burst in your mouth with an intense, tangy lime flavour with a hint of lemon.

Sprinkle the pearls over seafood, oysters, sushi, salads and desserts, stir them into dressings, or float them in cocktails and sparkling drinks for a show-stopping garnish. This unusual, ornamental tree has small, glossy dark-green leaves and fragrant white flowers, so it’s a great conversation piece on the patio or in the garden.

This tree is grafted onto disease-resistant rootstock for strong, healthy growth and earlier cropping than seedling-grown finger limes. It’s supplied at a well-established height of approximately 80–90 cm, ready to plant out.
