Satsuma Mandarin – Citrus (Grafted)
Satsuma Mandarin – Kwan Citrus (Grafted)
The classic early mandarin: sweet, seedless and easy to peel.
Satsuma is one of New Zealand’s best-loved mandarins and a staple of Kiwi backyards. It produces sweet, juicy, seedless fruit with a delicate flavour and a loose, thin skin that practically peels itself. It’s ideal for kids, lunchboxes and snacking. As an early-season variety, it’s one of the first mandarins to ripen, so you’ll have fresh fruit from late autumn into winter.
Satsumas are hardier and more cold-tolerant than most citrus, so they grow well in a wide range of New Zealand climates. This tree is grafted onto disease-resistant rootstock for strong, healthy growth and earlier cropping. It’s supplied at a well-established height of approximately 80–90 cm, ready to plant out.
